Macaroni-Pasta

Macaroni / Pasta is a delicious recipe of Italian origin with a combination of various vegetables, spices & herbs in a homemade red tangy tomato sauce. It is widely popular among kids and quick & easy to make.

Ingredients :

  • 1 full cup of Macaroni / Pasta
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 3-4 Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2-3 Green Chillies, Chopped
  • ½ tsp of Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp of Soya Sauce
  • 1 tsp of Green Chilli Sauce
  • 3-4 tsp of Tomato Ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp of Coriander leaves (For Garnishing)
  • Oil for Cooking
Note : You can put other vegetables of your choice like carrot, capsicum, beans etc.

Procedure :

1. In a large wide pan add 3 to 4 cups of water. Let it boil, then add 2 tsp of oil. Now add Macaroni / Pasta and let it cook for 6 to 7 min.

2. Keep stirring with spoon. Now drain all water from Macaroni through strainer.

3. In another pan, heat 2 to 3 tsp of oil on medium flame. Add green Chilli and chopped Onion and saute it. After 2 min, add chopped Tomatoes and 1 tsp of salt. Add half cup of water and let it cook for 2-3 min.

4. After 2 min, add ½ tsp of Red Chilli powder and now add Macaroni to it. Gently mix it well. Keep the flame on low.

5. Now add 1 tsp of Soya sauce, 1 tsp of Green Chilli sauce and 3 to 4 tsp of Tomato Ketchup. Mix it properly with light hand. Once all the spices are mixed properly with the Macaroni, switch off the flame.

6. Put it in a serving bowl. Garnish it with Coriander leaves. Tasty, juicy and spicy Macaroni / Pasta is ready to serve.
